FAQs
1. HOW CAN MY SCHOOL
GET INVOLVED?
Yes, we work with schools to ensure our programmes address the unique challenges and needs of the students involved, whether it’s building confidence, managing emotions, or helping with transitions.
Schools interested in bringing Hero Self programmes to their students can contact us via email at info@heroself.org for more information on how to get started.
2. ARE YOUR
PROGRAMMES TAILORED
TO SPECIFIC NEEDS?
3. DO YOU CHARGE FOR
YOUR PROGRAMMES?
Where possible, the delivery of our programmes is funded by grants. We are actively seeking funding to help bring our services to more schools. Schools can also pay to run the programmes at a cost of £3,000 per term. This fee includes Practitioner payment and administrative costs. Please contact us at info@heroself.org for more information.
At Hero Self, we take data protection seriously. Any personal information shared with us, including application forms submitted through our Join Our Team page, is stored securely and only accessed by authorised personnel. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more details.
4. HOW DO YOU ENSURE
THE SAFETY AND
CONFIDENTIALITY OF
PERSONAL INFORMATION?
5. ARE YOUR
PRACTITIONERS QUALIFIED
TO WORK WITH CHILDREN?
Yes, all Hero Self Practitioners hold enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checks and are certified in Safeguarding with Children to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants.
Our plan is to cover the entire UK. If we don’t currently have Practitioners in your area, once funding has been obtained (or if your school books a course), we will recruit and train a local Practitioner specifically for your school.
